Position Description:

We are seeking a lead foreman to join our team and oversee the construction and maintenance of permaculture garden builds for the 2024 season. The lead foreman will be responsible for managing project execution, coordinating a crew of 2 to 3 workers, and ensuring that all work is complete to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

The ideal candidate has a background in landscape construction with a desire to learn permaculture and edible landscaping. Experience in building patios and retaining walls is not required, but preferred. The candidate should be able to lead projects, work on a team, engage with customers, remain flexible, and solve problems.

This is a seasonal role starting in mid to late April and ending in mid-November. Weather will determine the end of the season. The position offers an estimated 35 to 45 hours per week. Opportunity for overtime pay (over 40 hours per week) may be available for larger projects.

Position Description:

We are seeking motivated and hardworking individual to join our landscape crew and assist in the construction of permaculture garden builds for the 2024 season.

 

As a landscape crew member, you will work alongside experienced edible landscapers. Missionary Educators serve as teachers or apprentice teachers in Catholic high schools and elementary schools. It is an 11-month commitment (July-June) which includes 6 weeks of training before serving at a school as a full-time staff member through the school year.
